Batch Processing
OnceScribe supports batch queues and watch folders to significantly improve processing efficiency.
Batch Queue
Adding Files
- Select the “Batch” tab on the workbench
- Drag multiple files into the queue, or click “Add Files”
- (Optional) Set output format and save path
- Click “Start Batch Transcription”
Queue Management
- Files are processed in the order added
- View progress and status for each file
- Pause, resume, skip, or remove items
- Export completed files individually
Watch Folder
Set a folder and new audio/video files are automatically transcribed:
- Enable “Watch Folder” in Settings
- Select the folder path to monitor
- Set auto-transcription options (language, model, output format)
- Drop files into the folder — transcription starts automatically
- Results are saved to the specified output directory
Suggestions
- Pair with your Downloads folder: browser downloads auto-transcribe
- Team shared folder: auto-process new files for collaboration
- Podcast workflow: new episodes auto-generate subtitles
Batch Analysis
Aggregate analysis across multiple transcripts:
- Cross-file keyword search
- Statistics overview (total duration, word count, speaker distribution)
- Generate comparison reports
Great for organizing interview series, podcast seasons, quarterly meeting records, etc.
